Ranfurly is an excellent place to stay!

Ranfurly is the commercial hub of the Maniototo. You´ll find everything you need including an NZ Post agency, chemist/pharmacy, bookstore/newsagent/Lotto outlet, clothing store, hardware store, galleries and the most amazing curiosity shop full of hidden treasures. You can hire bikes and cars here or use Toni´s Tiki Tours to get around. There is no 24 hr ATM in Ranfurly but there is one at the Challenge Petrol station which can be used when they are open. The Westpac bank also does cash out during business hours.

If you are self-catering, we have a butcher and two 4 Square supermarkets. If you prefer to eat out, there´s the Art Deco Restaurant at the Ranfurly Lion Hotel (summer only) or the Safari Bar for ´pub grub´ all year round. Forry´s café/bar/restaurant does breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as takeaways and there´s the E-café for morning tea or lunch. Nearby, Naseby offers the Royal Hotel and the Ancient Briton as well as the Black Forest Café for great coffee. The Wedderburn Tavern and the Waipiata Country Hotel are only a short drive away.
